Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of NaukriCV, operated by Ankit Mansinghani, an individual based in Ahmedabad, India. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.
1. Access
NaukriCV is currently invite-gated. Registering an account does not by itself grant access — an administrator must approve the account and allocate credits. We may decline, suspend or withdraw access at our discretion, and we may change or discontinue the service.
2. Credits
Each completed tailoring run consumes one credit. A run that fails before producing output does not consume a credit. Credits are allocated by an administrator, carry no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except where required by law. There is currently no paid tier.
3. Your content
You keep all rights in the resumes and job descriptions you submit and in the tailored output you receive. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service — to process, store and transmit that content to our subprocessors as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- you have the right to submit the content you upload;
- resume content is truthful — the service is built not to invent experience, and you must not use it to represent qualifications you do not hold;
- you do not upload other people’s personal data without a lawful basis for doing so.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to manipulate the service’s instructions through submitted content;
- use automated means to submit runs at volume, resell access, or circumvent credit limits;
- probe, scan, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service;
- use the service to produce deliberately misleading employment claims.
5. No guarantee of outcome
NaukriCV produces analysis and drafting assistance. It does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or that any resume will pass a particular applicant tracking system. Output is generated by language models and may contain errors — you must review it before you send it anywhere. Compliance flags and market rules reflect general conventions in a given country and are not legal, immigration or career advice.
6. Availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not commit to any uptime level and may take the service offline for maintenance.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by agreement.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost opportunities, lost offers, lost earnings, reputational harm, or any recruitment, employment, visa or immigration outcome arising from your use of the service;
- we are not liable for loss arising from output you sent to a third party without reviewing it first — clause 5 requires that review, because the output is model-generated and may contain errors;
- our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us for the service during that period, or (b) INR 5,000.
Limb (b) sets a floor that applies whether or not you have paid us anything, so this cap operates the same way while the service is free and if a paid tier is introduced later. Fees for a paid tier, when one exists, will be stated at the point of purchase.
8. Termination and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account yourself from the Delete Account control in the app — this immediately and permanently removes your profile, your saved resumes, and your full run history (including the job descriptions you submitted). Any unused credits are forfeited on deletion and are not refundable.
You can also request deletion by emailing ankitmansinghani21@gmail.com, and we will action it within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email, and the date above will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
